A very anxious, nervous and/or critical individual may not be accepting of the required compromises in comfort, vision or time required for lens care.

An individual that is not capable or 
willing to follow instructions

Patients with serious psychological 
or mental problems may not use 
proper care and are at risk for 
infections.

A person with poor hygiene

Chronic alcoholism patients may 
have increased problems with infections, especially with extended wear.
